Samurai Warriors 4-II
A hack-and-slash action game and a remastered version of “Samurai Warriors 4.” Instead of continuing the storyline from its predecessor, it uses the same setting and offers a character-driven story mode in which players can select a warrior and follow a scenario that changes based on their choices. Players fight their way through a multitude of enemies on the battlefield and can send two characters into battle at the same time, switching freely between them.
Story
Like the rest of the series, “Samurai Warriors 4-II” is set during Japan’s Sengoku period, an era marked by military conflicts and political strife, when the country was divided among regional warlords from the mid-16th to the early 17th century. In the battles, players take on the role of warriors from this period. The portrayal is more romanticized than strictly historical and gives greater prominence to figures who played hardly any role in the actual events.
