Samurai Warriors 3

Samurai Warriors 3 is the third part of the Samurai Warriors series. Like the other games in the series, the game reinvents the story based on Japan's Sengoku period, a time in which Japan was ruled by powerful daimyos and in which there were constant military conflicts and a lot of political intrigue, from the mid-16th century to the beginning of the 17th century. The game offers many gameplay improvements compared to the previous games in the series, the most notable being the addition of the Spirit Gauge, a gauge that allows characters to cancel certain attacks to perform more powerful attacks. This depends on the level of the gauge. It can also be combined with Muso attacks to perform an "Ultimate Muso". Certain attack combinations from the Xtreme Legends expansions also return. The characters' weapons are divided into the categories "Normal", "Speed" and "Power", similar to Dynasty Warriors 6, except that unique weapons are still assigned to each character.
