S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl

The year is 2012. Six years have passed since the time of the second disaster that made the April events of 1986 fade away. The game is set in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, which has changed from a fateful place to a threat to all mankind. The zone is reluctant to reveal its secrets and must be forced to do so. It is a rare hero who can reach the heart of the zone to find out what danger awaits him there. A danger that, compared to marauders and hostile factions, all monsters and anomalies, will only be a preparation for the encounter with something more deadly and threatening. But for now... get ready, hero. Collect artifacts and act, feel your way forward and keep an eye on the backside, catch X-rays and fight - just make sure you survive! And then, if you're persistent and really lucky, you might find out why it all fell on you.
