Rumble Roses
Get ready for sexy and challenging battles in the ring. WWX: Rumble Rose offers intense girl-on-girl wrestling action with a whole range of women - each with special moves. The fighting system lets you humiliate your opponents with insults, taunts and aggressive moves and holds. Your player's costume, attitude and wrestling style will change depending on whether you fight dirty or fair. Nasty or nice, when you become a popular wrestler you'll get benefits, such as expanded gameplay, additional abilities and moves, and more revealing and extravagant costumes.
Story
The story mode, which only exists in the original game, begins with the character reflecting on the reasons for their participation in the Rumble Roses. The actual tournament takes place over five days, during which cutscenes telling the character's story are interspersed with battles. These are based on eliminations, but there is the option to immediately replay a lost match. On the second day there is always a mud match and the fourth day is usually a match of special significance involving a shocking revelation or an encounter with a rival. The climax is a final boss fight against the mysterious Lady X and the resolution of the character's story. Defeating Lady X unlocks a new alternate story mode in which the character's alter ego makes an appearance. It is likely that this mode will take place some time later, after the character has "transformed". In this mode, there are only cutscenes at the beginning and end of the character's story. In between, she fights a series of battles against various opponents (including a mud wrestling match). The final fight begins with a cutscene and usually takes place against a special opponent (in a few cases, it's Lady X again), and if you win this fight, the story is complete. It also unlocks a new costume.
