Root Letter

Root Letter (stylized √Letter) is a visual novel adventure video game developed and published by Kadokawa Games as the first title of the Kadokawa Game Mystery brand. In the game, the player must find out what happened to the character Aya, a girl who mysteriously disappeared after receiving a certain letter. The game consists of two different parts: the adventure part, in which the player interviews characters that knew Aya to find out more about her, and the simulation part, in which the player relives and acts out previous interactions with Aya.
