Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5 is the seventh video game in the Resident Evil series. It offers similar gameplay to Resident Evil 4, with the same over-the-shoulder perspective, but this time the environment plays an important role. The player is now more reliant on his partner than in the older games. When the partner's life bar drops to 0, they enter the dying phase, where the life bar flashes red and gradually drops while staying that way. In Resident Evil 5 there are also new types of enemies called Majini, which are mostly of African descent.

Story

The Umbrella Corporation and its deadly viruses have been destroyed and contained. But a new, even more dangerous threat has emerged. Years after surviving the events in Raccoon City, Chris Redfield is fighting the scourge of bio-organic weapons around the world. Now a member of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), he is sent to Africa to investigate a biological warfare agent that is transforming the population into aggressive and disturbing creatures. Along with another BSAA agent on the ground, Sheva Alomar, the two must work together to uncover the truth behind the disturbing events.
