Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 4 is the sixth part of the Resident Evil series, which is praised as a revolution compared to the previous games. It was the first title to introduce a third-person perspective, rather than a fixed camera perspective like its predecessors. The gameplay mechanics have been completely overhauled and now offer fast-paced gunfights, quick controls and shootouts with masses of enemies in more open areas. The brand new AI system and open environments allow enemies to work together to capture and corner Leon. The enemies are now human, which allows them to climb ladders, open doors and use in-game weapons. Resident Evil 4 had one of the most torturous developments of any game: Four proposed versions of the game were discarded by the developers before the finished product was released.
