Open World Guerrilla Warfare - You decide who, when, where and how you fight. Use guerrilla tactics, improvised weapons and modified vehicles to lead insurgent attacks on EDF targets. Launch attacks according to your own play style, take on missions in any order, or engage in destructive activities to weaken the EDF's hold on Mars. Strategic Destruction - Use destruction to your tactical advantage by laying ambushes or setting off chain reactions to attack enemy strongholds and permanently alter the game environment. Use fully dynamic, physics-based destruction to improvise on the fly: Blast holes in a wall or floor to ambush or escape, destroy a staircase to stop your pursuers, or drive vehicles through blasted walls. Evolving & Emerging Gameplay - Make your way through an ever-changing landscape as you improvise your combat tactics - combining play styles, vehicles, weapons and explosives to defeat the EDF. Epic Sci-Fi Setting - Explore the vast, unforgiving Martian landscape, from the desolate mining outpost of Parker to the gleaming EDF capital of Eos; then race through the fully destructible open-world environments teeming with EDF troops, Red Faction resistance fighters and the oppressed settlers caught in the crossfire.
