Story

Mirage is a "wuxia" story, which literally means "fighting hero," and captures the essence of a broad genre of Chinese fiction dealing with the adventures of martial artists. In secret, an organization of assassins is wreaking havoc on the local population. The two assassins Soul and Shang find a favorable opportunity to strike while all their enemies are in one place. Their mission is simple: they must eliminate all their enemies or die trying. On their dangerous journey they will overcome many challenges and discover lost secrets. Take control of Soul and Shang and use two different martial arts styles to defeat their enemies. Soul is an orphan born with the temperament of a master. He taught himself his skills and they are not yet mature, but his potential is undeniable. He prefers the Dark Wound, a short-bladed weapon given to him by his adoptive father, who is said to be one of the masters of the night. Shang Zuo is a quiet, unflappable fighter of average skill, but possesses a central vision of all things powerful enough to affect physical objects. This "sword temperament" ability allows him to destroy objects without moving a muscle and shoot arrows out of the sky with a single thought. Together, they face the unknown and harness new abilities as they confront a terrible conspiracy.
