Rage of Mages

Rage of Mages is a PC game that combines role-playing and real-time strategy. It is produced by Nival Interactive and was first released in Russia under the name Allods: The Seal of Mystery. Although it is a role-playing game, the game uses a real-time strategy game interface similar to that of Warcraft II. First, the player chooses a warrior or a mage as a starting character. On his or her journey, he (or she) will meet several other companions. For a fee, hirelings are available if a player finds a mission too difficult and needs reinforcements. Each mission takes place on a game map that is usually full of enemies. Mission types range from rescue to escort to rogue destruction to treasure hunting.
