QuackShot: Starring Donald Duck
QuackShot, starring Donald Duck, is a constant Disney run-and-jump platformer with a small puzzle element. The characters are largely based on Disney's animated series Duck Tales. Donald and his three nephews get their hands on a treasure map and set out to find the great treasure. Donald travels all over the world, including Egypt, India, the South Pole and even Transylvania, while his nephews fly a plane. As a weapon, Donald uses pegs that can freeze enemies or stick them to walls, which can then be used to climb. Other crazy weapons are popcorn and gum.
Story
While Donald is leafing through some books in Uncle Scrooge's library, a treasure map of King Garuzia, the ancient ruler of the Kingdom of the Big Ducks, falls out. It leads to the king's most prized possession. Donald believes that this is his path to riches. Unfortunately, Pete hears about it and pursues Donald throughout the game in the hope of stealing the treasure. Using part of the map from the library, Donald travels to various places around the world to find clues to the treasure, including Duckburg and Mexico. After defeating Count Dracula in Transylvania, Donald obtains a more complete map that leads him to the Maharajah in India, to Egypt, to a cursed Viking ship, and finally to the South Pole, where Donald finds an old Viking diary that is said to reveal the location of the treasure. When he finds the diary, Pete shows up and holds Donald's nephews hostage to get the diary. After giving Pete the diary, Donald travels to Pete's hideout to defeat Pete and get the diary back. The diary reveals that the map, when immersed in water, reveals the location of the Great Duck Treasure.
