Pro Evolution Soccer 2010

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is the 2010 installment of the annual PES series. It introduced several improvements, including the official licensing of the Europa League (formerly UEFA Cup). Other new features include a revised penalty system, improved graphics, more distinctive player characteristics, new animations and the return of community mode. The network mode offers lag-free games, provided the connection is stable. The cover shows Lionel Messi and Fernando Torres, and the game is the successor to PES 2009. Many fans saw this edition as a chance for the series to reclaim the title of best soccer simulator, which it had lost to the FIFA series two years previously. A demo was released on September 17 and the full game was launched on October 23, putting it in direct competition with the FIFA series.
