Pikmin

Pikmin is a whole new type of gameplay from Nintendo. The whimsical title, in which life takes place under a microscope, offers a unique experience with its mix of real-time strategy, adventure and puzzle elements, like few before it. Pikmin harnesses the graphics power of the GameCube, bringing a microscopic fantasy world to life with its lush textures. Players control Captain Olimar, a lovable little astronaut who has landed on a planet inhabited by even more lovable little plant creatures called Pikmin. Olimar can command these creatures RTS-style, assign them tasks, let them attack enemies and collect resources. The ultimate task is to rebuild Olimar's spaceship before a 30-day time window expires.
