Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is a fighting video game developed by Arc System Works and Atlus. It is the direct sequel to Persona 4 Arena, which in turn is a sequel to the role-playing game Persona 4. The game was originally released on November 28, 2013 in Japanese arcades and later ported to home consoles. Unlike the previous game, it is not region locked.
Story
The story is a continuation of the events from Persona 4 Arena and begins the day after the end of the previous game, which means Arena Ultimax is also set in May 2012. The Midnight Channel is back on the air and once again airs a strange commercial for another fighting tournament called P-1 Climax, also known as Operation: World Destruction, in which members of the Investigation Team and Shadow Operatives can be seen fighting. Just moments later, the power goes out in Inaba and it is enveloped by a bizarre red fog. In addition, figures that look suspiciously like Mitsuru Kirijo, Aigis and Akihiko Sanada are shown being crucified on television. While the investigation team tries to figure out what is going on, Junpei Iori and Rise Kujikawa are trapped in the red mist, while Labrys, Ken Amada, Koromaru and Yukari Takeba fly in a helicopter to see the mist engulf Inaba.
