Papo & Yo
A semi-autobiographical 3D puzzle platformer in which a boy named Quico is taken from his abusive home to a dreamlike favela where, with the help of his sister and Lula, his robot doll, he must guide an easygoing creature named Monster through the world while protecting himself and his companions from Monster's rampages, which are triggered by an addiction to poisonous frogs.
Story
Quico's best friend, Monster, is a huge beast with razor-sharp teeth, but that doesn't deter Quico from playing with him. However, Monster has a very dangerous problem: he is addicted to poisonous frogs. As soon as he sees one hopping by, he devours it and goes into a violent frog frenzy from which no one is safe, not even Quico. And yet Quico loves his monster and wants to save him. As Quico, players build their friendship with Monster by solving puzzles together and exploring a magical, surreal world. Players must learn to use Monster's good and bad feelings to their advantage as they complete the quest to find a cure and save their friend.
