When the magic-infused "Comet of Infinite Possibilities" passes over Lyr for the first time in 300 years, sorceress Nikki decides that stealing the source of its magic is a faster path to power than studying it. But the evil Goon Queen Zorrscha is also after the comet. Nikki and Fargus, a pyromaniac court jester with his own special powers, race the queen.
