OPUS: Rocket of Whispers
Opus: Rocket of Whispers is a third-person, single-player adventure set in the snowy post-apocalyptic wilderness of an unknown world far in the future. Players assume the role of the last survivors of a people who maintain an ancient tradition of cosmic worship and believe that the deceased can return through space burials and rest in the stars. During the game, players travel through the snowy landscape searching for rocket parts and remnants of the past to help the last surviving witches - religious figures who perform the rituals of space burials - perform a final burial. The game deals with themes of purpose, persecution and loneliness.
Story
In an age of cosmic worship, far in the future, the deceased are sent into the depths of space so they can return to the stars. OPUS: Rocket of Whispers is set after an apocalyptic plague in which two survivors are left to mourn. Left with only the hope of closure and the promise of putting the lost souls to rest, they set out to perform one last funeral in space.
