Onikira: Demon Killer

Onikira takes the deep combat mechanics of some of the most amazing 3D beat 'em ups like Ninja Gaiden or Bayonetta and combines them with classic 2D platformer mechanics in a way that's never been done before. For example, throw an enemy into the air, jump to the wall to position yourself above him, and then hit him on the ground with your katana. Switch to the Naginata and use the Naginata Lift and Air Dash moves to stay in the air and get off crumbling platforms while pulling enemies up to you to finish them off in mid-air. Break out your grappling hook to shimmy between platforms, over chasms or fiery pits while fending off enemies. Each level is packed with tools to help you in battle. Cut the support pillars of a building and watch it crush your enemies as it collapses, or use your movements to hurl enemies into spikes, pits or the path of moving deadly objects. Be careful though, because if a building falls on your head, it can be very sad!
