Story

Night In The Woods is a VIDEO GAME. All Mae wants to do is run around with her friends, break things, and cling to a life of aggressive aimlessness. She dropped out of college and has returned to her dilapidated old mining town to do just that, but she notices that nothing is the same. The old town seems different. Her old friends have gone off in their own directions. Mae herself goes through some sudden and unexplainable changes that give her mysterious abilities that give her access to a side of the town she never knew existed. The world is changing, things are ending, and the future is uncertain. Beyond the park on the edge of town, in the trees by the old mine - there's something in the forest. And it might not mean a future at all. Night In The Woods comes from a deep place for us. The point where you feel things are changing and it's time to move on, but you don't know how. You know it's all going to end one day and you wonder how well we can handle it when it does. How long we can hold on and when we should let go. When we should accept and when we should fight.
