NHL 12
NHL 12 is an ice hockey video game developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports. The game was released between September 8 and 13, 2011 in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America. The game was unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2011. Steven Stamkos was announced as the game's title athlete on June 22, 2011 at the NHL Awards Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Most notably, the game features more interactive goalies (meaning players can have real contact with goalies and vice versa, and goalies and skaters can battle each other), a better physics engine, an improved Be a Pro mode, and the ability to play the 2011 NHL Winter Classic. As with NHL 11, NHL 12 will feature Gary Thorne (play-by-play) and Bill Clement (color) commentating on the games.
