Nerf Arena Blast

Nerf Arena Blast

Nerf Arena Blast is a first-person shooter that utilizes the Unreal Engine and features a sports arena where players use weapons that are either from or inspired by Hasbro's line of foam projectile ner-guns. Like other Unreal-based games, it is geared towards competitive arena play, with team play, old-style deathmatch and other game types, and can be played either in multiplayer mode or in single-player mode with bots. In single player mode, there is a tournament mode with progression and scoring. It can be played in matches with up to 16 players over LAN or Internet. The game has been praised for its excellent execution that captures the fun of the game it is based on, but also slightly criticized for failing to satisfy opponents of violence in video games by "nerfing" the violence, so to speak, while also losing appeal for those put off by the lack of explicit violence and the more child-friendly approach. In 2024, there is still a community of gamers who continue to play the game.
