Nemesis of the Roman Empire
At the height of its glory, Carthage was the greatest power in the ancient world. With trade routes throughout the Mediterranean, there was no other nation that could dispute its strength. Goods, gold and slaves poured into the majestic city - the source of its power. Countless mercenary armies were constantly purchased to ensure that all who threatened Carthage or its interests were dealt with. But another empire was also on the rise. The city of Rome had also begun to gain strength. The Romans soon decided to openly challenge their Carthaginian rivals. The time of the Punic Wars had begun. The game is a sequel to Celtic Kings: Rage of War, which was originally titled Celtic Kings: The Punic Wars.
