MotorStorm: Apocalypse

MotorStorm: Apocalypse (released in Asia as MotorStorm 3) is a 2011 3D racing game by Evolution Studios, published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. It is the fourth game in the MotorStorm series and the third for the PlayStation 3. It was announced shortly before the start of the 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo on Evolution Studios' PlayStation Blog on June 10, 2010. MotorStorm: Apocalypse was released in Europe on March 16, 2011, but its UK release on March 18 was postponed by Sony Computer Entertainment UK due to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The Australian release was on March 17 as planned, but Sony announced that further shipments of the game to that country would be halted due to the disaster. The planned North American release date of April 12, 2011 was postponed by Sony. Later, Sony confirmed March 31, 2011 in the UK and May 3, 2011 in North America as new release dates.
