For the first time in recent years, the game includes playable 125cc and 250cc support classes. MotoGP '07 for the PlayStation 2 was known for its emphasis on simulation, unlike THQ's MotoGP titles, which are known more for arcade gameplay. MotoGP '08 aims to balance these different styles and allow players to focus on the gameplay they want.
