Moonbase Alpha

Moonbase Alpha

NASA has once again landed on the lunar surface, with the objective of colonization, research and further exploration. Your objective in Moonbase Alpha is to restore oxygen to the colony on the moon by repairing the oxygen supply mechanisms after a devastating meteorite impact.

Story

NASA has once again landed on the surface of the moon with the aim of colonization, research and further exploration. Shortly after returning to the moon, NASA established a small outpost called Moonbase Alpha at the moon's south pole. Using solar energy and regolith processing, the Moonbase is now self-sufficient and plans for further expansion are underway. In Moonbase Alpha, you take on the exciting role of an astronaut working to advance human expansion and research. As you return from a research expedition, you witness a meteorite impact that paralyzes the settlement's life support systems. As precious minutes pass, you and your team must repair and replace equipment to restore oxygen production in the settlement. Team coordination and the correct use of available resources (player-controlled robots, rovers, repair tools, etc.) are the keys to success. There are several ways in which you can restore the moon base's life support system. However, as you will be scored on the time you take to complete the task, you will need to work effectively as a team, learn from the decisions made in previous game sessions and make intelligent choices to come out on top of the leaderboard.
