Monster Party

As Mark was walking home from a baseball game one evening, he looked up at the foggy sky. Suddenly, a glittering star with a blinding light fell to earth. When Mark regained consciousness, a mysterious creature was standing in front of him. The creature told an eerie story about his home planet, the Dark World, where evil monsters terrorized the helpless population. He had been searching the galaxy for a warrior who could free them from their terrible situation. The creature explained that Mark's bat was the perfect weapon to defeat the evil monsters. Mark thought about the creature's suggestion for a moment and then agreed to take on the dangerous mission. After all, he thought, it's better than going to school!
