MLB SlugFest 2004

The second title in Midway's baseball series, SlugFest 20-04 continues to focus on fast-paced gameplay, bizarre codes and humorous commentary. In addition to the new home run derby mode and the option to create a team, the game features the ability for pitchers to catch "On Fire" and impossible specialty pitches that zig, zag, arc and pass in a way that would humiliate any batter. New secret teams have been added to the existing teams, including Aliens, Minotaurs and Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat. Another neat feature is the customizable instant replay, which allows you to relive the embarrassing moments as soon as you pause the game. And of course, Tim Kitzrow and Jim Shorts return to the commentary booth to provide their trademark random commentary and incessant bickering.
