Story

Jim Phelps is in a park outside the CIA and receives a message about a terrorist plot in Norway to send missiles to a rival country. Phelps sends IMF agents Ethan Hunt, John Clutter and Andrew Dowey to stop the terrorists' plans by penetrating the submarine bunker where the missiles are stored and then destroying the submarine with the missiles. Meanwhile, Alexander Golystine, an employee of the Russian Embassy in Prague, kidnaps IMF agent Candice Parker and steals one half of the NOC (Non-Official Cover) list, a list of real and fake names of all IMF agents. The embassy has a powerful supercomputer that can crack the code to open the document. After IMF agent Robert Barnes disappears following a rescue attempt, Phelps sends Hunt to find and recover the list, free Candice Parker, and solve Barnes' fate.
