Microsoft Flight

Microsoft Flight

Microsoft Flight is a flight game developed by Microsoft Studios as a successor to the discontinued Microsoft Flight Simulator series. The game is offered "free-to-play", which means that players have to pay to download additional content, aircraft or scenery. In July 2012, Microsoft finally stopped development of the game to refocus its "long-term goals and development plans." The main game, which includes the Icon A5 aircraft and the Big Island of Hawaii landscape, can still be downloaded for free. It can then be expanded with additional downloadable content (DLC) from the integrated Games For Windows Marketplace on Xbox Live. Microsoft closed the Xbox.com PC marketplace on August 22, 2013. Items already purchased can still be used and the flight software can still be downloaded, but no items can be purchased through the marketplace.
