Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament

Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament

In Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament there are cars that require different driving techniques on each track, as well as hovercraft and helicopters. There are several game modes, including "head-to-head" racing, where each player earns points by driving an entire screen ahead of the opponent. Television host Violet Berlin is a playable driver. The MS-DOS version included a track editor. A selling point for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version was the J-Cart, a cartridge with two control ports that eliminated the need for a 4-player adapter. It also included a "pad sharing" feature that allowed 2 players to share a single joypad; this allowed 8 players to compete simultaneously on certain tracks.
