Story

The laboratory where the next generation of METAL SLUGs is being developed is attacked and a data disk containing the secrets of the METAL SLUGs is confiscated. Marco and Tarma are given the mission to retrieve the disk and hurry to track it down. Meanwhile, Eri and Fio investigate the paramilitary organization Ptolemaic Army, which loots historical ruins, and get on its trail in an ancient ruin called "Corridor of Fire". They storm the site and try to overpower it, but they are repelled by the locals and huge METAL SLUGs. This incident makes it clear that the enemy behind the theft of the METAL SLUGs' secrets is the Ptolemaic army. The government forces decide to launch a second attack on the "Corridor of Flame" with an elite force of PF Squad and S.P.A.R.R.O.W.S. members to retrieve the secrets and destroy the paramilitary organization!!!! A special disk containing deep and intricate secrets about the Metal Slug project is stolen by a mysterious group called the Ptolemaic Army, whose specialty is archaeological excavations and espionage. Marco and Tarma of the Peregrine Falcon Strike Force take up hot pursuit of the group, bumping into Eri and Fio of SPARROWS. Once again, the quartet team up to investigate the mysterious target of the Ptolemaic Army.
