Metal Saga
Metal Saga, the sequel to the Metal Max games, is set in the same post-apocalyptic world as its predecessors - a world populated by bounty hunters, rangers, bandits and mutated monsters. You'll take on the role of a bounty hunter who must travel the world in search of "wanted" people. Accompanied by a soldier, a mechanic and a cyborg dog, the hero will have to survive a journey to the West, which will eventually take him to remote places and lead him to battles against evil. Metal Saga has a less linear storyline than what you would normally expect from a Japanese RPG - a storyline that evolves depending on the missions you decide to carry out, which in turn lead to new events and eventually to different endings. The combat system consists of traditional group management and turn-based battles, complemented by Metal Max's signature tank combat. When you acquire tanks for your characters, you can use them in battles. Tanks get damaged and break, but you'll be able to customize them by finding parts scattered around the world and assembling them into new models. Depending on the tank model, many different weapons, cannons and accessories can be added, so there are hundreds of possibilities. Tanks can even be customized with a custom paint job that is stored on the memory card.
