Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel

Originally called Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, Metal Gear Solid is a Game Boy Color spin-off of the popular stealth action game Metal Gear Solid. Ghost Babel is not a port of the game, but an original game developed specifically for the Game Boy Color. Ghost Babel is a non-canon game that serves as an alternate sequel to the events of the original Metal Gear. The game is set seven years after the events of Operation Intrude N313.

Story

Early 21st century. An incident of unprecedented magnitude shakes the highest levels of the US government: the prototype armored biped, the Metal Gear, has been captured by an armed group, along with its nuclear cargo. In a radical response to this crisis situation, the government calls in Solid Snake, the master saboteur who single-handedly brought down Fortress Outer Heaven seven years ago.
