Melty Blood Act Cadenza

Melty Blood follows a year after Tsukihime and a few days after Kagetsu Tohya. In early August 2001, Shiki Tohno learns of a new series of murders in Misaki Town, similar to Tsukihime, in the last weeks of October 1999. While searching for the killer, he meets Sion Eltnam Atlasia, who engages in a fight with him and tries to capture him. After the fight, she reveals to him that she is trying to capture him in order to contact the "True Ancestor" (meaning Arcueid) so that she can get information about the "cure for vampirism". Shiki then decides to help her with this task.
