8 robots go on a rampage and wreak havoc in the city and around the world! The robots are the creations of Dr. Wily! However, Dr. Wily claims that the robots are not under his control and has vowed to solve the problem together with Dr. Light... But just as the two begin to investigate the mysterious force that has taken control of Wily's robots, a shadowy figure breaks into the lab and kidnaps Dr. Wily!
