Medal of Honor: European Assault
There are a total of four areas to which the player (as Lt. William Holt) is sent: France, North Africa, the Soviet Union and Belgium. In each area, there are a series of missions that the player must complete. While some objectives are set from the beginning, Holt will discover more missions as he explores the area. Each mission consists of five elements: a main objective, secondary objectives, killing a German officer (nemesis fight in the game), obtaining documents from the officer and escape. If you complete all of them, you'll get a gold medal. If you miss one or two, you'll get a silver or bronze one. In most missions, Holt fights alongside allied NPCs and works toward a common goal, often based on historical events in World War II. However, as a member of the OSS, Holt also has secondary objectives for each level, such as finding documents and eliminating important German officers, such as the henchmen of the antagonist Count von Schrader.
