This game includes a full remake of the original Mary Skelter: Nightmares game with additional story content as free DLC. It is recommended that you finish Mary Skelter 2 before playing through the remake. The changes made to the game system in Mary Skelter 2 can also be found in the remake of Mary Skelter: Nightmares.
Story
The prison - a living prison that feeds on the people who are trapped inside it. The dungeon was created several years ago when the city collapsed around it. Now twisted creatures called Marchens and insidious nightmares roam its halls. Otsuu and the Little Mermaid are part of a group of people called the Dawn, who try to survive these horrors. On one mission, they manage to rescue Alice and a young man named Jack. However, when they return to the base, Alice goes crazy and starts attacking the people around her. Alice hits Jack, who was trying to protect Otsuu and the little mermaid, and pushes them into an abyss. Later, Otsuu and the Little Mermaid wake up from the fall to find that Jack is on the verge of death.... And so begins the story of escaping fate, led by a group of girls who seek refuge in this crazy world, and of the young man who turns into madness itself - a nightmare.
