Marvel Heroes

As characters level up, they receive a passive increase in stats that help the character in question, and they receive power points that the player can use to further define the character's abilities. Each character has three power trees in which they can invest points. Each of these trees usually focuses on a specific mechanic or playstyle, such as Iron Man's shields, Hawkeye's trick arrows or Deadpool's weapons. The higher the character's level, the more skills they have available to spend points on, and the more points they can spend on existing skills. There is an upper limit for each skill, i.e. more points can only be invested in a skill above a certain level.
