Mario is Missing!
Mario Is Missing! is an educational game and the first game in which Luigi is the main protagonist and Mario plays a supporting role. The main gameplay consists of side-scrolling through a city, jumping on Koopas to collect stolen artifacts. Luigi must then secure the city by moving these artifacts to their respective locations and correctly answering two questions about the landmark. The computer version is a point-and-click adventure, while the NES and SNES versions focus more on platforming.
Story
Bowser, the king of the Koopas, has moved from the Mushroom Kingdom to the real world, where he has set up his headquarters in a castle in Antarctica. He plans to steal Earth's treasures using the passcode-controlled long-distance transport and theft system that allows his Koopas to teleport anywhere in the world. His main goal is to sell the treasures to buy enough hairdryers to melt the ice of Antarctica. To achieve this, Bowser captures Mario to prevent him from thwarting the plan, and it's up to Mario's brother Luigi to rescue him.
