Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis

The 9th Atelier core game and the first of the two Mana Khemia games. The game centers around the main protagonist Vayne Aurelius, the son of a legendary alchemist named Theofratus, who disappeared sometime after Vayne was born. Since then, Vayne leads the life of a hermit, his only companion being a mana in cat form named Sulpher. Vayne is invited to the Al-Revis Academy by Zeppel, one of the professors, to learn alchemy. He is quickly initiated into the school, becoming part of a studio run by Flay Gunnar (an older student known as the "Defender of Justice"), along with two other students, Jess (an awkward girl who is nevertheless skilled at alchemy) and Nikki (an impulsive bee girl). They are soon joined by Pamela (the school's ghost), Anna (an 11-year-old sword master), Roxis (the son of a famous alchemist family who is forced by Flay to help out in the workshop) and Muppy (an alien the group discovers on a mission). The eight manage to complete the tasks, learn the skills of alchemy and make the workshop flourish.
