Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude
Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude is a 2004 video game that belongs to the Leisure Suit Larry series. The game introduces a new main character, "Larry Lovage", the nephew of Larry Laffer. It is the 7th game of the series.
Story
The main character, Larry Lovage, is a student at Walnut Log Community College whose goal is to get on a dating TV show called "Swingles." Uma Yasmine, the show's host, won't let Larry on the show until he proves his seduction skills by receiving "gifts of tenderness." Sixteen college girls will be available to him for this purpose. His aging uncle, Larry Laffer, from the original games, gives him brief advice and shows up at a local bar. Larry also has to trick a sorority house and a frat house called Dio, where they recite lines that are actually altered lyrics from Black Sabbath songs. In a brief subplot, the college's arena football team faces off against a rival team called the Maiming Maggots. The college's team name is a running gag, as it is obscured by objects so that it can only be recognized as Flaming Fa-. The final scene shows that the team name is actually Flaming Fantasticks after the Van of Swingles leaves the school.
