Last Rebellion
In Last Rebellion, you take on the role of Nine and Aisha, who share a single body in the cursed world of Junovald, a land where two gods rule over life and death. Decimate your enemies with an intuitive, turn-based combat system that allows you to target individual body parts as you protect the world from demons and seek revenge for your father's death. Last Rebellion combines action and strategy and offers a new twist on combat and exploration with the character switching feature. Players can jump back and forth between Nine and Aisha at will - both have unique, customizable abilities, so it's important to assign abilities to both characters that suit your play style. By matching the two characters well, you'll be better prepared for what lurks in the shadows of Junovald.
Story
The game takes place in the world of Junovald, which is ruled by the will of two gods: Meitilia and Formival. Meitilia is the god of death, who watches over the destruction of life, while Formival is the god of life, who watches over the birth of all life and the creation of everything. It is said that Meitilia has blessed two types of people - blades and seal keepers - with special powers. Blades have the incomparable power to physically destroy things, while sealers have the magical power to destroy souls. Formival's power, on the other hand, gives him the ability to revive any dead object. Creatures facing death allow their souls to escape from their bodies; once they have escaped, these souls are controlled by fragments of Formival's soul. The creatures' souls then manifest into monsters that are even more powerful and stronger than before. These creatures are known as Belzeds. They cannot be killed by normal means, but require the skills of a Blade and a Sealer to destroy both their body and their soul.
