La Pucelle Tactics
Prier and her brother Culotte are novices in the demon hunter organization La Pucelle. They have just passed their final exams and are ready to do real work fighting demons and zombies, but soon they get involved in a series of intrigues orchestrated by a rival church with dark intentions. The game takes place on a tactical map, where teams of up to six characters work to clear the playing fields of enemies and dark energy. Using the unique "Purify" command, players can recruit monsters for their team and perform complex "Miracle" energy attacks. The game was ported to the PlayStation Portable in Japan on November 26, 2009 as La Pucelle Ragnarok.
Story
La Pucelle is set in a kingdom called Paprica. The story revolves around a small church, the Church of the Holy Virgin, in the town of Pot a Feu. In addition to the normal duties and responsibilities of a church, there is a group of trained demon hunters called La Pucelle. Two of the newest members of La Pucelle are Prier, a sixteen-year-old girl, and her twelve-year-old brother Culotte. It is said that the Dark Prince, the favored servant of the fallen angel Calamity, will rise to scourge the land. But legend has it that when the Prince rises, a warrior woman known as the Maiden of Light will challenge him and restore the balance of light and darkness. Prier hopes to be the Maiden of Light. The game's story is divided into chapters. Each chapter has multiple endings, depending on the information La Pucelle finds out before the end of the chapter.
