Kya: Dark Lineage

Kya and her brother Frank have been transported to another dimension and separated upon arrival! Kya meets the native creatures of this world (the Nativs) and is rescued by them, but Frank is captured by a dangerous enemy, the Wolfens, under the rule of Brazul. To make matters worse, Kya learns that the Wolfen are actually the peaceful Nativs who have been captured and transformed, and that Brazul is actually her long-lost father! Kya must now set out on a quest to save her brother and find a way to return the wolves to their original form and defeat Brazul. Kya: Dark Lineage is an action-adventure game. You'll control Kya and you'll have to explore the colorful world in which she has arrived. This strange world is made up of different floating islands with many tunnels, platforms, dangerous life forms and other obstacles. In many areas, strong winds blow, which you'll often have to use to your advantage, floating with them through tunnels or over chasms, or slowing down your descent in free fall. You'll also have to solve some puzzles, find objects, hop on different platforms, buy items in the native city and much more to reach new areas. You'll also have to fight often, since the wolves are numerous and guard many areas that you'll have to cross. You'll be able to fight both with your fists and with items that you can acquire (for example, various boomerangs and combat bracelets). After you defeat a wolf, you can use a spell to change it back to its native form, which will then return to the native city. When you return to the city, many Nativs open a store. As new stores open, you'll have the opportunity to buy new items and power-ups to help you on your adventure. Alternatively, some Nativs may set up a challenge in town instead of opening a store. You can earn money by placing bets and completing challenge objectives (or you can simply practice a challenge). As you progress through the game, the story will evolve until you (hopefully) succeed in your adventure!
