Killzone

Killzone is a first-person shooter in the science fiction style. The game's peculiarity is the possibility of controlling one of the four different protagonists, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Up to sixteen players can compete in the online multiplayer mode, which includes eight maps and six modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Assault, Defend and Destroy, Supply Drop and Domination. The game's online servers have since been shut down.

Story

During the era of space exploration, a group of humans colonized the planet Helghan. In order to survive in the harsh environment, these humans mutated to the point where they were no longer human. They developed a passionate hatred for humanity and eventually founded the Helghast Empire, which attacked the planet Vekta, controlled by the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA). As the Helghast soldiers invade the planet's environs, the ISA forces try to hold the ground and find a way to stop them.
