Killzone: Liberation
Killzone Liberation is the sequel to the PS2 game Killzone. New to the series is the top-down/third-person perspective instead of the pure first-person perspective of the PS2 game. During action, you can switch to a tactical overview to plan your actions. The screen zooms out and actions slow down, while icons pop up to indicate the various actions and objectives. The game features a full range of ad-hoc multiplayer settings, including co-op and competitive game modes like Deathmatch, Assault, and Capture the Flag for up to six players.
Story
Two months after the events of Killzone, most of southern Vekta is still under Helghast control. The rules of war are suspended as the Helghast general, Metrac, takes increasingly brutal measures to seize the initiative and strengthen his position. The player takes on the role of the Templar and is sent on a covert operation to rescue the hostages captured by Metrac, while the ISA forces continue the fight for freedom.
