Kessen III
In Kessen III, the player takes control of Nobunaga Oda. Unlike in the two previous games, you can't choose a side to play on, and Nobunaga has only one objective: to unite the lands and free his world from misery and suffering. As in the predecessors, this game has lots of cutscenes and stays faithful to both strategic and action gameplay, with some new things added, such as collecting items during battles. The two main aspects of this game are planning and participating in battle. You choose officers and place them strategically on the battlefield, giving orders and issuing orders. On the battlefield, each of the officers, including Nobunaga, has his army at his disposal, which he can control at any moment. Level-ups bring additional special attacks to both the officers and their troops.
