Karnov

Karnov is a platform arcade game from 1987. It is the debut of Data East's mascot of the same name. After Data East went bankrupt in 2003, Paon, a company composed of former Data East employees, acquired the rights to Karnov, along with several other Data East games. In the game, players take control of the title character, Jinborov Karnovski, or "Karnov" for short. Karnov is a strongman who hails from an unspecified part of the Central Asian republics of the Soviet Union, as seen on the original arcade flyer and in Karnov's Revenge.
