Ju-on: The Grudge
It is said that a curse is created when a person dies with a deep and burning grudge. When an average housewife in Nerima, Japan, was gruesomely murdered, a curse emerged that is so powerful that it threatens to kill at a rate that was previously unimaginable. The curse affects everyone who comes into contact with it, such as when they enter the house or come into contact with someone who has already been cursed. When Erika Yamada is exposed to the curse while searching for her dog in an abandoned warehouse, the entire Yamada family is put in great danger as soon as she arrives back at their home. They must now face their individual challenges alone, and only when they overcome the curse together will their family truly be free again. JU-ON: The Grudge is described as the first "haunted house simulator" where accessibility and instant terror take precedence over story and game depth. Using the Wii Remote as a flashlight, players move forward with the press of a button and explore haunted locations such as an abandoned warehouse, a dimly lit hospital and a mannequin factory. Similar to a haunted house, players must keep moving even if they get spooked.
