Jill of the Jungle

Jill of the Jungle is a platform sidescroller that was released in the same period as Commander Keen and Duke Nukem. Players play an Amazon who can use different types of weapons and enhancements to kill monsters and find keys on her way through the levels. The first episode of the trilogy contains 15 playable levels, including a bonus level, each of which can be entered from an overworld that resembles another level. The second episode consists of 20 consecutive levels without an overworld. The overworld of the third episode is a top-down perspective and changes to the traditional platformer style when you enter one of the 15 levels. The game doesn't contain any boss fights.
